MARIA DZIEDZAN was born in Grimsby in 1951.She studied Philosophy at Nottingham University before becoming an English teacher. She taught for several decades in Nottinghamshire and then retired from teaching to focus on her writing. When Sorrows Come is her first novel but her second novel is nearly finished and will be available in early 2017.
She is married with two children and lives in north Nottinghamshire.
